Tonsils and a View in Conway

Marilyn and I are in Conway, Arkansas (home of Kris Allen and Conway Twitty) for the weekend. Chad, my 24 yr. old nephew, transferred here with his job about two months ago. He's loving the area, already made some friends, and found a church.

He's also found a doctor! He just had his tonsils taken out this morning. He is sleeping like a baby back at his apartment. We are in charge of pain medications and pushing fluids in between his LONG naps.

I thought I would share two awesome pictures with you.

First...the view out on the balcony of his apartment!

Next....the view inside one of his closets!

Have you EVER in your LIFE seen a 24 yr. old male (or female) keep the closet so organized?

  4. Wow! What a catch for some girl. I hope he feels better soon. Should be about 5 days. I had mine taken out when I was 23. So I know what he's going thru.
I just sucked on crushed ice for a day or two and that helped.
Glad your there to help him out and snoop around his closet. haha.

  11. Poor guy! I hear having tonsils out is harder on adults than kids. Praying he makes a quick recovery. No doubt you guys are taking good care of him. That closet...wow! I dream of being that organized! (If you could only see MY closet!)

  13. I hope he feels better soon. I know what it feels like to have that surgery. MIne was done at 21 and I remember the discomfort all too well. I have to say that I am much healthier since having it done.

Wow! I'm impressed with his closet.

  16. I wondered where you two were. I thought you were crafting somewhere again! Jason had a long recovery when he had his tonsils out a few years ago. I guess I should have hired the Scoggin sisters to take care of HIM! Drive home safely!
