Cemetery Markers

This morning Jerry and I went out on a mission to purchase cemetery markers. I really wanted to take care of this so Jenna and Justin did not have to deal with Rick and mine down the road. I also wanted Jerry to do the same so he could get what he wanted! I know this will save some stress someday.

We have all had the cemetery plots for years. We purchased them at the same time Mother and Daddy purchased theirs. We had to use Mother's and Daddy's in 1990 and 2005, respectively. Only God knew that Marilyn would need to purchase a marker and use one of those plots for Carl in 1997 when he died unexpectedly at the age of 42.

Both Jerry's marker and ours will fit right in with what their markers look like.

Molly Turns 3 and A Little Discovery

Jenna, Jared, and the kiddos came in for the weekend to celebrate with Molly. This morning I rode with them to take Marlow and Jackson to the Discovery Center and then have lunch in Frisco. Enjoyed the morning!

So....Molly turned three today. It's been a fast three years. She is such a cutie and is so smart!
Her party was this evening. She loved everything about it, and we love her!

Snake!

Since we have been home, we have been cleaning and going through every inch of the house. It seems two days after we left for Colorado, Jerry saw a snake in the hallway. That was one month ago.

For the first few days back, we continued to stay in the RV; he had moved out into his RV the evening he saw the snake! We have emptied closets and drawers. We have cleaned as we did room inspections. We have been using the sticky pads that are designed to "capture" a critter if it gets on it! After moving back into the house last night, we continued to use all our strategies to have a peace of mind; everyone feels that it had gotten out where it came in. Anyway, a couple of possible places in the house were sealed, a carload of "treasures" were taken to Salvation Army, and now we are good. I think our closets look pretty amazing. However, we are still using the sticky pads!

Oh, and we purchased snake repellent granules for the perimeter of the outside foundation!

So Long, Colorado!

As it has been said so many times, "All good things must come to an end." After almost a month here in South Fork, we are headed back home. We have had such a good time. We were blessed to have had our kiddos join us in the middle of our stay which helped me get through a month of being away from home. We also met some more really nice folks here at the campground that we hope to see again someday.

Thank you, Lord, for your many blessings!
