Doctors' Appointments During Covid

With "shelter at home" and other additional Covid-19 factors, we have avoided not having to go to several appointments for Rick. Last month during the very first week of sheltering, Rick was due to go to his annual pain management visit. Fortunately, we did not have to drive to Dallas and did this via phone. The very next week he was scheduled to see his regular doctor. We did this through a video conference. Then the last week of March we canceled dental appointments for both of us.

The first of this month Rick was to have some dermatology surgery which we rescheduled. Today, he was to see his regular doctor for a meds check. We were able to do this through another video conference.

So goes sheltering in place......

Let's Go Fishin'

Lots of this been going on around here lately. A plus to this corona/social distancing/no in-person school thing.

(Justin's stash growing for July 4th activities is legit!)

 Easter Weekend 2020

Easter 2020 was different but special at the same time.

Our church could not have its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration with the children yesterday. We did, however, have a drive-through pickup for Easter baskets that had been made for all of the kiddos. Baskets included the Easter story as well as all the fun stuff. I picked up Marlow and Jackson's baskets that their teachers had made for them.

Today, we had an Easter online service and celebration with our church family as we could not gather together in person.

Rick and I decided after lunch we had to see all the kids today. We could social distance and see them!! We drove down to see Jenna, Jared, Marlow and Jackson. We took the Easter goodies and enjoyed a beautiful couple hours outside with them.

When we got home, we drove the rhino over and caught Justin, Keelie, Jonah, Glory, and Molly outside. We delivered some Easter things to them and enjoyed a different kind of Easter visit there as well.

Most importantly, we got to see everyone. Love them so much!

 Good for My Soul

Although it may be a different kind of spring with all the social distancing, it feels so good to be able to enjoy the little things that I love! Time to plant the garden, enjoy the patio and outdoors, and then do some baking which are all good for my soul!
