Saturday was an unbelievably warm 74 degrees. Today was 34 degrees. Yep...it was a perfect day for firewood, a pot of soup and some quilt-fabric cutting! Can't wait to see what tomorrow's weather will bring.
I admire that nice stack of firewood! Louis Dean has hacked away on some wood we had and I am about to build a fire in the den and we will cozy up to it for the remainder of this night!!!
Hey there Diana - that's some good-looking soup there - makes me want some. I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup (actually it was too thick to be soup) and it sure was good! Warms the cockles of your heart - whatever cockles are...! Wish I had time to do another quilt...
Hi Diana, Love your plans for a cold day. We've had the same type of weather-in the high 60's one day and snow the next. Have to be honest though-having to stay in and recover when it's so cold outside hasn't been too bad. Had a lot of soup lately, but haven't yet picked up my quilting-maybe tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, but more snow on the weekend. Hugs, Noreen
I am married to Rick (46 yrs.), mother to Justin and Jenna as well as MIL to Keelie and Jared. I am also known as Nanna to Jonah, Glory, Marlow, Molly, and Jackson. I have one brother, Jerry, and a sister, Marilyn, who is my best friend.
So glad you found me. So good to see you again. Can't wait to see what you are planning to do with the material. Hugs

This weather is wild!! I had thought we were having a mild-ish winter...until the past week or so, that is. Now we're having real winter. Brrrrrr...
ReplyDeleteI like your methods for coping with the cold. :)
