We are so proud of Justin. He has finally achieved the goal and plan God put on his heart. He will be a firefighter for the city of Plano. After a year long dedicated, stick-to-it-plan, he's made it. He and Keelie have endured many crazy weeks, both night and day, to get to this point. We love and respect that dedication and determination he has always had in whatever he was doing. As in true fashion for Justin, he gave it his all. During recounts of his physical test with the department back in March, I thought back to watching him determined and "digging deep" to make the finish line in a track event as a little R.A. boy in his first church track meet to his junior and senior years on the mile relay teams.
The words on the picture exemplify Justin's character. "Never give up or give in. Fight 'til you lose or fight 'til you win. Never let down....conquer all fears. Learn from your losses and savor your wins." Savor this one, Justin! We love you!
