A Full Lake Ray Roberts
Rick and I left out on Monday for a week of camping. First stop was Lake Ray Roberts. We had reservations there for two nights. We knew the lake was up (as all of them are!) but had no worries about finding a spot. Some areas were closed but we had no trouble finding one on high ground.
By Tuesday, the park people had decided to let no new campers come in and closed the park as flood gates were wide open. We were scheduled to leave there Wednesday at noon so they said we were welcome to stay and in no danger. We actually had two really nice days there.
Before we left I got a few pics of some areas underwater. It's so strange to see this much water. Texas has been in drought for a very long time!
Now that is a LOT of water.
