Marilyn's Special Birthday

We got home from Colorado just in time for me to make M a birthday cake. I went with a "childhood" one. Mother always made each of us three kids one of these with the sugar candy decorations.

Brenda and Dominic's Week Here in Colorado

Brenda and Dominic got here Tuesday. She made me some decorated "camping" birthday cookies! She does a fantastic job with them, and they are absolutely the best tasting ones. On Thursday we rented a jeep and went out for the day! We enjoyed great weather and sure enjoyed the views. Today we went to church and out to eat. They leave tomorrow; the week they are here always passes too quickly!

Marlow and Jackson on the Lake

Jenna and Jared went with some of his family for their annual lake weekend. This year Marlow and Jackson got to do something new while there! They had a great time. I am so thrilled they love the water. I didn't grow up liking it so much.

My Birthday

Today was my birthday. I love spending it in Colorado, but I sure miss not getting to celebrate with the family. Some friends here at the campground suggested we go out for lunch. We ate some pizza at a fun place. Then tonight we visited around a fire.
