April Camping and Hail

We were able to get away to camp in Colbert again this past week. We came home today. This afternoon we had a significant hail storm. Our roof is not even a year old from the last hail storm; we will see.......

Easter - He is Risen!

Easter weekend was packed full. Greg, Lisa, and the girls flew in. Chad and Tara could not come in because her doctor said she did not need to travel outside of Houston. She had begun some dilation, and she is almost six weeks from her due date. My crew -- all present!

We had our Easter meal last night. (We had originally also planned a baby shower for Chad and Tara.) An egg hunt and fireworks followed the meal.

This morning we went to church and had a special time together. Jenna had me snap this before the service.

I have more photos to include here.

Spring Photos

Thanks to Keelie and Jenna I have these sweet photos of the kiddos.

Glory and Molly were getting tulips.

Jared and Jenna were on their way to church. Little Jackson was still in the carseat asleep.

Jerry's Home and Babysitting the Grands

Jerry came home from South Texas this week just in time! We had Marlow and Jackson for a few days while Jared and Jenna went on a little trip. With a two-year old and a ten-month old, it is all hands on deck. Of course, they are so cute! They are active all day and sleep wonderfully at night. Yesterday, we took them on a day trip and ended up at Sonic for ice cream. Today, we took them home; Jared's dad is taking over until mom and dad get home tomorrow.

Ray Roberts Camping

Justin, Keelie and the kids were ready for a camping trip. They twisted our arm (yeah right!) to go to Ray Roberts for a few days. We had a great time and made it just fine sleeping everyone in the rig. The bonus was that we got a great spot in the park that is usually taken when we go there.

(Is it possible that Jonah will soon pass his dad in height?!)
