Our Christmas 

We had our Christmas on the 26th. It was Anja (15 months old) and Marlow's (3 weeks old) first Christmas.

We had a non-traditional meal and warm weather. It was in the 70s, and it was so muggy we had to turn on the air conditioner.

Didn't matter at all.....We had a great time celebrating together! Love my family!

Rick's Tumor

We had a very important MRI and doctor's visit this past Friday. We did not get the news we wanted but yet it was the news we were somewhat prepared to hear. Rick's brain tumor had grown even more since June. God and our doctor have delayed this for months, but the time has come. Surgery is now going to be required to attempt to remove as much of the tumor as possible. The doctor shot us straight on what is to be expected both during and post surgery. It is not an encouraging report at all. We know we are to trust that God has already gone before us and will carry us through this. We appreciate the prayers of our family and friends.

Another Baby!!

A week after Marlow was born, we were still with Jenna and Jared at their house. We got a text message from Justin and Keelie with a video attached. It was a video they had filmed as they let Jonah and Glory in on the announcement that they were getting a brother or sister! Rick and I will be blessed with another grandchild around August 2016.

Got to get another stocking on the mantel!

Our Baby!

Jenna was admitted and induced around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2 due to low amniotic fluid. (Her due date was technically December 11.) Marlow Mae Hermann was born at 7:27 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. She is perfect, and we are all in love! Jared, Jenna, and Marlow are doing well.
