May Getaway

A couple of weeks ago Rick took a week off for a much needed getaway. We took the 5th wheel and headed back south. Our first couple of nights we stayed in Fredericksburg where we met up with Jerry. He had been there a month. We took him to the Rockbox Theater show and also out to LBJ Ranch (usually go to both every time we're there). Then we moved both rigs over to Johnson city to our favorite RV camp. We stayed there until we came home the end of the week. Jerry is staying for a month there, too.

Happy Mother's Day to a Special Mom!

New Babies

Rick got these baby African geese this past weekend. They originally came from China---not Africa. (We just drove 10 miles to get them.)

Crawdad Fishing

The kiddos and I have been crawdad fishing several times the past week or two. We are still on the hunt.

Jonah did get one, but the little critter took him by surprise, and he lost it. (We didn't have the string tied to a stick that time!) He said, "Nanna, my heart almost stopped."

At one point, Jonah was reminding me to be quiet. 

Glory would fish awhile and then put on lip gloss awhile.
