Brenda and Dominic's Week Here in Colorado

Brenda and Dominic got here Tuesday. She made me some decorated "camping" birthday cookies! She does a fantastic job with them, and they are absolutely the best tasting ones. On Thursday we rented a jeep and went out for the day! We enjoyed great weather and sure enjoyed the views. Today we went to church and out to eat. They leave tomorrow; the week they are here always passes too quickly!

Marlow and Jackson on the Lake

Jenna and Jared went with some of his family for their annual lake weekend. This year Marlow and Jackson got to do something new while there! They had a great time. I am so thrilled they love the water. I didn't grow up liking it so much.

My Birthday

Today was my birthday. I love spending it in Colorado, but I sure miss not getting to celebrate with the family. Some friends here at the campground suggested we go out for lunch. We ate some pizza at a fun place. Then tonight we visited around a fire.

Justin, Jenna and Families Head to the Beach

Justin and his family went to Florida after the 4th for a beach vacation. Later in the month, Jenna and her family headed out for their beach vacation as well. It was the first real "beach" vacation for the kiddos. They all had a good time!

Arrived in Colorado

Rick and I arrived in Colorado at our campsite today! We are so excited to be here in cooler Colorado and are looking forward to seeing all our friends. After we get set up today and tomorrow, we will be ready for the campground church service Sunday morning. Slowing our days down a little!

July 4th Season

Our July 4th season activities actually began June 13 and continued through July 4th! The spreadsheet was created and meals were planned for three weeks. 

Keelie invited the little girls to attend one of her art camps, and she had also helped us get them plus Jackson registered to attend their mega sports camp the next week! This was fun for the kiddos and so very helpful to M and me. 

The guys had three city shows and two private shows this year. 

 

Marlow and Jackson Begin Swim Competition

This summer Marlow and Jackson got to participate in swim meets through the club. They had weekly practices and meets for about six weeks beginning the first of June. They both did great!
