Nanna Daycare
Justin and Keelie left for Minnesota on Tuesday; they took Molly. We helped out with Jonah and Glory sharing them back and forth with Mary until Saturday night. On Tuesday, I took Jonah and Glory to eat and then to the Gainesville zoo. Marilyn went with us. It was such a pretty day to be outside.
We overlapped a little with getting Marlow and Jackson on Friday; Jared and Jenna left for Grand Cayman with Shaun and Kelle for five or six days to celebrate Shaun's 40th birthday. They forwarded me this awesome picture.
On Saturday, Marilyn, Glory, Marlow, Jackson, and I went to a wedding shower for Ashton in McKinney. Jonah stayed back to go to his football game. It was good to get to see Ashton and visit with her and Marci. Justin and Keelie got home Saturday night.
Marilyn and Rick were great helpers. Between day trips, rhino rides, and snacks, we got her done!

Jackson: His Helmet and Paci
Jared and Jenna recently got Jackson fitted for a helmet. The first 24-48 hours were rough. The first night sleeping in it was horrible; although he slept, the poor little guy got up with a terribly red and irritated head. It was obvious it wasn't fitted correctly! You would have had no idea anything was wrong with him or the helmet because he always smiles and is such a happy boy. After two more fittings, they finally got a helmet he could wear. He wears it 23 out of 24 hours a day.

Jonah and Fall Ball
We have been so happy to watch Jonah play flag football this fall. It was an awesome thing to see another generational "Ferg" on the field. What a great season - low stress with no tackle and lots of good weather to sit in a city park amongst all the GT fans.
Jonah, you are awesome. I hope you continue to wear that #12 with pride.

Medical Ship Assists After Hurricane
On our recent trip to San Diego, Marci and Donnie took us by this ship and shared some information about it.
Today in the news the following information was reported regarding helping with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey:
The Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort arrived in San Juan yesterday, bringing with it state-of-the-art medical facilities and crew.
The ship is sailed by civilian mariners of the Military Sealift Command and staffed by Navy medics from around the United States. The majority of those on the ship come from Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, but there are sailors from at least 12 different bases aboard as well, Navy officials said.

Pumpkin Patch, Parties, and A New Davis On the Way
Yesterday morning we all got around to beat the crowds at the Pumpkin Patch at Preston Trails. We took all the kiddos. We enjoyed the little rides, the animals and even had hot dogs for lunch. We enjoyed a beautiful morning there. We had a meal here at the house this evening; we celebrated Anja turning three years old with a cake Marilyn made.
It was at the party today that Chad and Tara announced they are going to have a BABY! Although they are in shock, they are happy. The due date is around May 12; and at this time, they do not know if it is a girl or boy!
(Love this group!)
