HAPPY HOUR PIE!!!
Today, we were out on the road headed to the Hill Country. We had lunch in Marble Falls. We knew we were in for a treat as we followed the signs to a restaurant that was touting their 80+ year-old business. The billboards all read "Daily Lunch Specials and Homemade Pies."
HAPPY HOUR PIE!!!!
Have you ever..........
Peanut Butter Pie!
It was so different than you could imagine. So creamy!!!
We weren't there 3:00-5:00, but it was worth FULL price. Trust me!
(We got the recipe--will post later.)

ReplyDeleteWe love little restaurants like this. I will have to stop there when we go berry picking in a month or so. We love the pie in Hutto at Texan Cafe. Turtle pie is our favorite...in fact, we were there last night and had a piece. They, too, have happy hour for pie!
