The New Year Brings a Knee Replacement
We started out this year in a much different way! After many years of pain, Rick had his full knee replacement. He had been advised after two previous surgeries over the years that this would be next. He had it on January 3. The surgery went well. He had to stay two nights instead of one because his blood pressure went a little crazy.
Physical therapy started the morning after we came home! It was in-home therapy for the first two weeks, and then he began going to it here in town. Let me just say the first two weeks were rough! We have turned the corner now.
