  2. What a fun "poll". With such widespread winter conditions, I'll be you get some fab responses.

  3. Hi Diana!
Hope you are enjoying the weather there! My friend who lives in Burleson, TX is enjoying a day home from teaching school. Here in MS, it is cloudy, and they are forecasting all sorts of goodies for us...thunderstorms, snow, etc. (although it's 56 degrees right now!) You can count on variety in Texas as well as here in Mississippi! lol. On Snow Days, I like to get out and ride the 4 wheeler with my family and play with our Border Collie, Remington Gauge. We also like to make snow cream and watch a movie or read!

    Happy February!

  4. I was hoping for a "Snow Day" from school, however we just started late. We have 2-3 inches of snow which is not bad for the Texas Panhandle, however we also have 25-30 mph winds so the chill factor is 10-20 below 0. I was looking forward to a day of sitting by the fireplace and reading!! Oh well, maybe next time. Stay warm and enjoy the day cuddled up!!

  5. Hot chicken N dumplings, a fire, and lots of chick flicks and naps! However, it didn't snow here, so I imagine I'll be at work. Bummer... ya'll enjoy!

  6. We love the snow! We are snow skiiers! However, we don't get it much down south Texas, but when we do, we take loads of pictures, we go out in it and make a snowman (the best we can), we cook comfort food, we drink hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream (cause we have an excuse), and we mourn when it actually stops! : )

  7. We are iced in here in DFW area. My husband was out this morning with my blow dryer heating up the faucets so he could undo the water hoses and wrap the faucets up with towels. Not a moment too soon! It is supposed to be below freezing for 80 hours! Brrrrrr!!

  11. We usually don't have much of a choice on a snow day. Our whole yard/driveway gets blown in and we can't get out of the house. I really wouldn't mind a few good storms in the winter, but every few days is a bit much for me.
