Sharing Sunday....
After our worship service this morning, we had our luncheon. Potlucks are the best! My chocolate cake was all gone. Love it when you get to bring home an empty dish.
This afternoon I brought out the quilt squares ("My Twenty-Four Piece Puzzle") I shared with you a couple of months ago. I started on sashes and borders. I'm hoping to get more done this week.
Then a walk outside to take in the colors...
Enjoy your evening!
We do lots of potluck dinners too..they are always so good with tons of food! :D
ReplyDeleteHi Diana,
ReplyDeletePotlucks are always fun! We have them every so often at church. Your quilt is going to be so pretty. The flowers are beautiful as well. Have a nice evening! :)
A beautiful life
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt and flowers are both beautiful!! What type are the white ones?
ReplyDeletelove the quilt...turned out to be a beautiful day here in Texas...
ReplyDeleteNo cake left for us, huh?! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is looking great!
Beautiful day, my friend. Thank you for sharing your day with us...even though there wasn't any cake left for your bloggy friends...lol! The quilt is coming along quite well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, hugs, and prayers,
andrea
Those quilt squares are so pretty; I don't think I've ever seen that pattern. Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteI love potlucks. I too love to bring home an empty plate/dish when I attend a potluck. That is a great cake recipe. Actually one of the best cake recipes that I know of. The icing is delicious! I love your quilt. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI love potlucks! And it is a good feeling when your dish gets eaten up. :o) Love your photos of the flowers--so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are great...I especially like that quilt...
ReplyDeleteAll look GOOD!! A fun Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYes, I always liked bringing home empty dishes from church diners. The church we attend now doesn't do covered dish dinners. The church hostess does all the cooking. Easier (on the rest of us), but not as much fun or variety. I miss them.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day. Your quilt is going to be great!
ReplyDeleteOh sister, the quilt is as beautiful as your lovely flowers. Yep, it's always a good sign to bring home the empty dish from a good pot luck.
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya and enjoy this beautiful day!!!
I couldn't resist "paying you a visit" when I saw Texas mentioned. My husband and I just returned from Houston where we received a Texas-sized welcome! And, what's better than a good pot luck. I grew up in the south where my mother had a whole recipe box full of pot luck recipes.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I love your blog! The songs on your play list are amazing! This quilt is beautiful. Now following along as well. :O)
