Our daughter, Jenna, is an ICU nurse in Dallas. Next month she will mark her three-year anniversary.
So to Jenna...... I am proud of you. You are making a difference as you care for your patients. You are also making a difference for the family members who always need a smile, reassurance, and sometimes comfort in the midst of hard times. Keep up the great work you are doing as you serve in this ministry you were called to do. Love you!
Thanks to Jenna and all the other hard working, under paid, under appreciated nurses of the world. I was a nurse a long time ago; I KNOW why there is a nursing shortage, it is a hard, thankless job most of the time.
ReplyDeleteMy husband had cancer and passed away in April. I was so thankful for the care and compassion the nurses showed us both.God bless your daughter.

ReplyDeleteI love nurses! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you recognized nurses. I almost forgot and I worked as a nurse for more than 20 years. Nurses are often unappreciated since patients come and go so quickly. But I know for a fact the role they play. And many of the nurses I know are Christians.
ReplyDeletenice tribute...to a hardworking group...my best friends daughter just passed her Nursing exams and is working in labor and delivery...
ReplyDeleteGod Bless nurses!!! They make life easier for everyone-I could never do that job-and I am so glad that Jenna and others do-so thanks from me!

ReplyDeleteDiana, this is a beautiful tribute to your daughter. I know you are so proud of her. I worked for 25 years as a nurse. It is hard and thankless a lot of the time, but there is nothing as rewarding either. May God bless her hands, her heart and her mind as she works to help others.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful tribute to Jenna and all nurses!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that Jenna is enjoying her calling!
Glad Jenna is doing so well. Give her a hug for me and tell her Happy Nurse's Day!
