Red, White, and Blue Giveaway

By the time you have read this,  I will have left on a trip that will be taking us to some historical sites up in the New England area. It's been interesting reading up on names, dates, locations, and historical events that led up to our independence as a nation. Of course, I'll be taking plenty of photos. I hope to share a few with you along the way.

Anyway, as I was meandering through a store recently, this cute red, white, and blue stuff just screamed out at me and jumped in my basket. So...... I am sending it to one of you.

Included: paper plates, napkins, a cute little kitchen towel, two spools of ribbon, and even a 12 ft. flag banner. This should be just enough to kick start your own July 4th party! Yes, it's early, but it will be here before we know it.

Just leave a comment here and tell me something you would like to serve on the cute plates. The winner will be announced June 9!

  3. I hope you have a great time on your "historical trip". When our kids were young, we took a camping trip to Jamestown, Yorktown, D.C. and Philadelphia. It was quite an adventure. We were inspired to see some of the places where our country was formed and to be reminded of the sacrifice of so many that we might live in a free country. Hope you are inspired as well! How about a slice of..."as American as...apple pie!"

  22. How sweet of you to have a giveaway of a few of my favorite colors: the beautiful red, white, and blue! I get so nostalgic around this time of year. I will plan on serving a strawberry dream cake that I just read about at "Life in Grace." It sounds like the yummiest strawberry cake ever.

  29. Very thoughtful of you to do a give away!! Thank you!
What would I Like To serve should actually be, What will my Family BEG for me to serve!! LOL Our 4th of July Celebration is never complete without my Homemade Fried Chicken, and Potato Salad!! This year will be even more bittersweet than normal, as my husband is currently serving in Afghanistan, and is getting to come home and surprise our girls a couple of days before the 4th of July!! The 4th is always a HUGE deal for us, not only being VERY patriotic Americans, but also being a Military Family, however last year we didn't get to spend it together, and didn't think we would this year either, but Thankfully, he will be home for his R&R early, and we will once again get to celebrate the Freedoms he and all our service men and women fight for--TOGETHER. With Fried Chicken of Course!! ;-)
