The Thrill of an Invention and Still Calling Texans

"If you could invent something to make your life easier, what would it be?" I saw this question in one of my magazines. One of the ladies said she would invent an automatic clothes folder. Another one said she would invent a robotic maid so she never had to clean. One lady said she would love a pill that would alleviate the need to ever sleep. That way she would gain alot of time to do other things she enjoyed.

I think I would have to say a "ringless" bathtub. Yeah, I know it's strange. But I hate tub rings, AND I hate to clean them. This invention would be awesome! Or maybe......I should just go for the robot, too. Why just limit the help to the bathroom!

What would thrill you to your toes?

  1. I 100% agree with the automatic clothes folder--although the only thing better would be something to put them away too....although, that housecleaner idea sure was a good one too! ha-ha
For your tub ring....have you tried Scrubbing Bubbles spray? (the foam). I used to hate that stuff, but I tried it one day and my word--it was like heaven on earth! They make one that is especially for bathrooms too....and it's even anti-bacterial! Yahoo!!

  2. I would invent something that would suck all the dust and dirt out of the house....like a huge vacuum...soon as you walk in it just pulls it all out so it never lands on the furniture..ceiling fans...and floors...

  3. A perfect kid adapter!! Push a button and they become totally obedient for the rest of their lives. OOOOH, I don't need that anymore....they are all grown, but one. The horror of their teenage years still plagues me...lol.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  4. Oh I love this question. I'd want an invention that makes me wake up every morning clean, my makeup on, and my hair done. Think of how much time I would save and wouldn't hubby be impressed!

  5. Well, my Hubby came up with the idea when we were newlyweds that he would invent an automated eye make-up removal system to shorten my bedtime routine. After 32 years, I'm still waiting! HA!

Love seeing your Texas flags. We lived in Austin for 2+ years and when I moved from Central Texas to Central Florida I was confused for the first 6 months. The weather and terrain were so similar and yet, I kept feeling at loose ends. Then it dawned on me that I wasn't seeing any flags (like at 90% of the gas stations, etc.) and so I was disoriented. Florida doesn't fly her flag like Texas...I don't think any state does!
Blessings for a Healthy and Blessed Texan Year!

  10. As the mom of 6, my first thought was something to make my kids instantly obey. Since that's not going to happen, I think I'll go with self-warming socks. My feet are always cold :-)
