Isn't this the cutest little outfit?

That crafty friend of mine got a custom order for it.

I just knew some of you would be chompin' at the bits to make one. So here's a tip! She used elastic to secure all the strips on rather than ribbon. I personally think that was clever because that way it's adjustable for the little one's waist. The strips are approximately 24 inches before you put them on. go make one for that cute little girl of yours!

  1. It makes me wish I had a little one to sew for!

    How clever & creative.

  2. I just hope I have a little granddaughter someday so I can make something like this. I don't know who I'd put it on now, Beau or Handyman. Either could be dangerous;)
    Thanks Diana,

  3. tutu cute my daughter would have loved that when she was little...

  4. Tutus seem to be the hot item for little girls these days. They are so cute.

  5. So cute, i know two little granddaughters in Texas who would love one.
I also enjoyed your Texas post, make me want to be born in Texas. Now my daughter lives in Texas, does that qualify? LOL maybe i can get her to blog. lol. Blessings,

  6. Well I was going to say something about knowing that I will NOT be making one of these any time soon, as I have all boys...but several others said the same! (I'm not ready to even CONSIDER grandchildren yet. Oldest is 12!)

Cute as can be, though. I would have loved it as a young girl!

  7. I saw how to do this at our craft store (Ben Franklin) last week. I love the one on your blog even better. They both had elastic-That really is the key!
I'm going to make one for my little precious pumpkin Noelle Grace (my granddaughter)
    Have a great weekend,

  8. That is adorable. Love the shirt too. I make the tutus when I have time. Cute.

  9. I have been wanting to make one but use one of glory's stretchy headbands for the waistband. The little holes in it would be perfect to tie the ribbon and tulle on.

  10. ahh, I thought you were taking orders for Aunt Pam! Maybe, I could make this, but Pam would do much better!

  11. Oh that is so cute. I can totally see my granddaughter wearing that outfit!
