Broadway, Bakeries, and Bridges

Two very different Broadway shows that we saw proved to be nothing less than entertaining!

We had at least three trips to two different bakeries, hit two different pizzerias that Justin and Keelie had recommended, and indulged in two different kinds of ice cream.

One of the ice cream places was the fabulous Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory near the bridge.

Hope NYC is on your list of places to visit some day if you haven't been there yet!

  1. When we went to NYC last year, we DID go to the Magnolia Bakery, but saw Wicked here at home. LOVED both of them. I really did enjoy NYC and would love to go back.

  2. I especially enjoyed a long walk through Central Park, which was decked out in Fall array during our visit. We also saw the Stage Play, "Footloose", which had us tapping our feet for days.

A person could get lost in Manhattan for days and never complain. Whatta place!

  6. I grew up on Long Island so trips to NYC were common. And I still love to go there to visit. My niece lives in Brooklyn and works in a hair salon in Manhattan. I enjoyed Wicked too. And the Magnolia Bakery ...yummy!

So glad you are having a wonderful time. If you have the opportunity, visit the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Sunday services are wonderful and on Tuesday evening they have the most awesome prayer meetings.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  8. Guess what? Me, my friend and both my daughters are going to NYC in a few weeks. We are taking my youngest for her graduation trip (from college) & she has never been before. It has been 40 years since I have been to NYC. I probably won't recognize the place!! We have tickets to see Jersey Boys! And the Magnolia Bakery was already on our "to do" list. We also plan a carriage ride in Central Park and the usual touristy stuff! Can't wait. Thanks for your tips. Love & blessings from NC!

  10. I love your well rounded trip! I'm a fan of Magnolia Bakery and would love to try your ice cream place. I've seen Wicked about 4 times, but never Rain--maybe we can catch it the next time we're in NY. My husband adores the Beatles!

  11. I haven't been to NYC and up until the last year or two, have never really had any desire to. Now I would LOVE to go but only with someone who knows their way around.

I saw Wicked in Tulsa and LOVED it. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to see it on Broadway.
