Magnificent NYC

Marilyn, Greg, Chad, Jenna, and I are going to NYC next week. Marilyn and I were there Christmas 2008. Chad has also been, but this will be the first time for Jenna and Greg. We are all getting excited!

I am happy, too, for Justin and Keelie; they are going back for another visit there in December for their 10th anniversary. (Wow...that's hard to believe it's almost been 10!)

E.X.C.I.T.E.D.!!!

  3. I hope you all have a wonderful time! I was in NYC once and it felt very much like a cold, foreign country. I should probably give it another chance with a better attitude. :-)

  4. How exciting! I've never been there and I don't see me ever getting my hubby to go with me. But I've been to some other exciting (to me) places so I guess I'll just have to be an armchair traveler for this city. My traveling son tells me that I would hate the cab rides anyway! Have a wonderful time!

  6. If you are looking for something "different" to do I highly reccommend the Tenament Museum on the lower east side.

  7. Hi there, Although I am a country girl by heart I did enjoy our two visits to NYC-just wouldn't want to live there. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be.
Have a delightful weekend filled with love.

  9. I agree with the comment about the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. It is great to do right after visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island museum. Very off-beat and interesting.Highly reccomended..Also this will be the perfect season to spend some serious time in Central Park and if possible visit the Brooklyn Botnical Gardens. Beatiful!

  10. Hubby and I had a blast there a few years ago. From walking Central Park to meandering at Rockefeller Center we loved people-watching. We also took in two stage plays. Great times.

Enjoy your excursion, and be sure to stop at Macy's!
