Magnificent NYC
Marilyn, Greg, Chad, Jenna, and I are going to NYC next week. Marilyn and I were there Christmas 2008. Chad has also been, but this will be the first time for Jenna and Greg. We are all getting excited!
I am happy, too, for Justin and Keelie; they are going back for another visit there in December for their 10th anniversary. (Wow...that's hard to believe it's almost been 10!)
E.X.C.I.T.E.D.!!!
as they say, a wonderful place to visit but i wouldn't want to live there.. :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for all of you! 10 years just flies by, doesn't it? Have fun in NYC! xxoo Diana
ReplyDeleteI hope you all have a wonderful time! I was in NYC once and it felt very much like a cold, foreign country. I should probably give it another chance with a better attitude. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I've never been there and I don't see me ever getting my hubby to go with me. But I've been to some other exciting (to me) places so I guess I'll just have to be an armchair traveler for this city. My traveling son tells me that I would hate the cab rides anyway! Have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHow fun I hope you have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteawesome!!
ReplyDeleteIf you are looking for something "different" to do I highly reccommend the Tenament Museum on the lower east side.
ReplyDeleteHi there, Although I am a country girl by heart I did enjoy our two visits to NYC-just wouldn't want to live there. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteHave a delightful weekend filled with love.

I haven't checked your blog in awhile. I'm really behind! Love the pictures! Have fun in NYC and take lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comment about the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. It is great to do right after visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island museum. Very off-beat and interesting.Highly reccomended..Also this will be the perfect season to spend some serious time in Central Park and if possible visit the Brooklyn Botnical Gardens. Beatiful!
ReplyDeleteHubby and I had a blast there a few years ago. From walking Central Park to meandering at Rockefeller Center we loved people-watching. We also took in two stage plays. Great times.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your excursion, and be sure to stop at Macy's!
Kathleen
