Got Game?

No, not talking about video games. These are some board/card games that Marilyn and I enjoyed playing with each other when we were kids. We had a great time playing any and all of them. It's funny that when we began our own families some of these were still popular for game time with our children.

There are so many new games out there today. So...grab a new or old one and play with a kid (big or little)! It's a great opportunity to spend quality time together!

Without Him
(words & music by Mylon R. Lefevre)

Without him I could do nothing
Without him I'd surely fail
Without him I would be drifting
Like a ship without a sail.

Without him I would be dying
Without him I'd be enslaved
Without him life would be worthless
But with Jesus thank God I'm saved.

Oh Jesus, oh Jesus
Do you know him today?
Please don't turn him away
Oh Jesus, my Jesus
Without him how lost I would be
Without him how lost I would be.

  1. I remember this hymn well. I also remember most of the games you picture. As the youngest of 3 children, nobody would play Monopoly with me!!!

  2. Love that hymn.

One of our favorite board games is The Farming Game. We've spent hours playing it. The second one would have to be Chicken Feet using dominoes. We love board games.

  3. Love the games. The song is one of my many favorites. This is one I used to request on Sunday nights when they would ask for favorites to sing. Thanks for the the memories.

We still play games as a family when we can get everyone together. It always makes for a very fun time!
