J.O.Y.

Jonah and I had "Nanna time" yesterday. He didn't have a clue I was catching him on video as we were walking in a store for a few minutes. He was so happy and content all day.

Later in the evening as we were going into a restaurant, we were discussing his food of choice off the menu. As my five-year old grandson told me that he wanted a large bowl of their mac and cheese, he said, "Nanna, I'm just a regular guy with a huge appetite."

He's so entertaining!

I guess I wore him out. He fell asleep at 6:45 p.m. on the way home and didn't get up until 6:45 a.m. this morning.

  1. He is so cute! I'll bet that big bowl of pasta carbs did knock him out for the night (plus all the running around during the day!) Glad you had fun!

  7. Oh, that is just so sweet! If only we all had that joy to just skip in a store without a care.

  12. Aren't Nanna times the very best? We just returned from a week of Disney magic with our little princess granddaughter, and the memories will last us forever.

    Priceless!

  17. Hi Diane,
Love the video of your grandson skipping. Aren't children just such fun, especially when they are yours. Love the comment about the mac and cheese too. So precious. Wow, can't believe he slept so long, that is really good. That is why he is so happy and contented, he is so well rested, and that is a good thing. We adults could learn from that!! lol
    Have a great day hon,
    Blessings, Nelie
