What A Drag!


Rick and I have a date today. We are going to the drag races in Ennis, Texas!

It's been a very long time since I've been to any of these kind. I'm going to be ready for a full day, night or both. I will have my handy dandy bag with snacks, ear plugs, magazine, camera, and, of course, I'll have my phone. I'm not saying I'll be bored. I'm just saying....a girl's gotta be prepared.

Honestly, I think it's going to be fun (unless it's raining!). I asked Justin if it would be very loud, because he went with his dad last year. He just grinned and said, "Nah." Yeah, right!

Hopefully, I will bring back some pictures to share. You do want to see some car pics, don't you? Say what?

    Oh yeah...I am just champing at the bit to see pictures of cars. That ranks right up there with looking a poopy diapers. But, hey...You GO, girl! lol Have fun (if you can think of it as that). Hugs-Diana

    Have fun! :-) And don't expect to be able to actually talk on your phone. The roar with be deafening, literally, if you forget your ear plugs. But hey, who wouldn't want to watch cars go round and round on a track? LOL

    I'm just kidding. You will have a great time. But I wasn't kidding about the phone. :-)

    LOL, I LOVE car pictures *sarcasm* but completely get the fun, adrenaline rush that comes from the racing.

    YES it will be loud. It will be loud and stinky but fun too! I've been out there a few times in my day. Have fun.

    I hope it doesn't rain. Any kind of date is fun with a hubby. :) I would sit out in a cornfield I think if that is what he wanted to do. :) Who wrote your Bible Study? It looks really good and I did one by John MacArthur like that.
    I need a study to do with my girls and we have been doing a topical study on being a wife and mother. We are getting finished so I have been looking around.

    Diana, This reminds me of me and hubby-especially if it were drag boat races or tractor pulls. I hope you have fun and are blessed just by being together.
