I was SO ready. So when the calendar said "September" and the cooler weather hit, out came some "fall" around the house! Have you got some going yet?

  2. How beautiful is that! Fall is my favorite season, and I can't wait to be taking photos of fall landscapes. I think the only thing fallish going on in the house is a leaf carried in on the dog. But I did just get home from Indiana late last night. Your post is inspiring me to bring a little fall indoors. :-)

  8. Oh my!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Diana!
We don't celebrate 'Fall' as such here in Oz, we just have a simple autumn, but because of our native bushland the leaves don't change colour the way yours do, they just kind of dry up and drop of.. lol!! I just love your Fall season... it so pretty and the way you decorate for every different season, I love it! We don't do that here either... I shall have to start a new trend I think!!
    Hugs!

  10. Oh how beautiful!! I am inspired. First I have to finish our Greek night book club...Homer, for our 14 year old son...then when I clear it away I can do something new.
This just makes me get ready for fall.
Oh, my friend Beth Ward moved to Gunter...if you meet her say hi!!!

  11. It's gorgeous but, no, I am not there yet. As I sit here at my computer and gaze over to the right of me, I see our pool. It's still full and will not be closed until the end of September. My mind is in summer thoughts, but I must forge ahead to the Fall and school, and sports, and...

You've inspired me. Though it is still in the '90s here in Central Florida, it's definitely time to bring in the box of FALL DECOR from the garage.

  28. I will have to look for the Mitford Cookbook and Kitch Reader! The church we belong to always puts me in mind of the one in Jan's books!

  29. I, too, have the Mitford Cookbook and love it to the MAX! It's just lovely to look at even if I'm not brave enough to attempt any of the recipes. And your Autumn table is breath-taking! Lovely blog!
