As the Wicked Witch of the west in the Wizard of Oz said, "Help me. I'm melting!" That's exactly what we are doing around here in Texas right now. Today's forecast......107.
You poor thing! Feel free to join us in our lower-eighties temps today in NW Wisconsin. The heat there must be suffocating, just walking from the house to the car! And on those asphalt parking lots! What on earth did they do before AC??
I'm with Cranberry Morning..Another Diana here from Green Bay, WI...80ish and heavy with humidity and promising rain. Don't you love it when people tell you, Yeah, but at least Texas has dry heat? HOT is HOT! Thank goodness for A/C. How did we survive? Try to not melt! Diana
Hi.. been pretty hot and muggy here in Denver... nothing compared to what you are experiencing! at least at night, the temps drop to a comfortable sleeping level (we sleep with windows open, no A/C) but when Dallas was home eons ago, there was simply no such relief. It was 100 when awakening, still 100 at nite. we lived in A/C.. the house, to the car , to the job or errands at the mall where we did our early morning laps.. am so glad to be able to enjoy my nights and days.. come for a visit.. I'll be glad to share! warm sandy hugs.. Loui♥
I'm thinkin' that we blogging girls in the South/Southwest need some cold love from our northern friends. I'd like to see some snowy pictures about now!
Oh Diana, I hate the heat myself and swelter all summer down here in Florida! Thank GOD for A/C. Praying you stay COOL. Who did your blog background (skin)? I really like your format and buttons! Blessins and ((HUGS))
