Cupcakes and Cars

Glory and Jonah decorated cupcakes with me yesterday. We went with white cupcakes (pretty safe) and a mixture of two kinds of canned frosting--butter cream and vanilla. (Try that sometime!!) I purposely went with small dabs of frosting on them though: I didn't want to give them a sugar high late in the evening. And of course, no cupcake is complete without those glorious, fun-to-do sprinkles.

Glory enjoyed hers tremendously without any other thing needed. Jonah had his with cars on the side.

Oh, and I guess we did OK. They both slept fine and got up at their normal times for me. Whew!

  2. Looks like fun! I love cupcakes, gluten-free of course. But it's so much easier to stop after one cupcake than it is after a piece of cake - when the pan is sitting right there!

  3. Children seem to love the process of cooking up something fun to eat! Cupcakes, cakes, and cookies have never failed in my home as the "let's do this together" project. Looks as though it was "the icing on the (cup)cake" for your grandchidren's fun at grandma's house! Just another wonderful memory for you all!

  5. Very cuties! I think all I'd want is a great big sweet kiss from these little ones. That's all the sugar I'd need!
