TOO CUTE!
First, we have this. One of the ladies at my bible study this week made this great treat for us. Have you ever seen such a cute little cake!!! Don't doubt us....we eventually gave in and put the knife to it. Awesome!
Next, we have these. Jonah and Glory had a great time getting outdoors late yesterday afternoon. It's rained so often around here that it has been difficult to be able to get out and play.
And then these. A sweet little senior citizen at church just made these for me. (If you missed my post this week about learning from older adults, read it.) I am so proud of the potholders. You can't go to Target or Wal-Mart and buy these. They are made with care, pride, and love!
Have a great weekend!
That's the best kind of gifts. I made an afghan for my youngest daughter out of the hot pink and aqua yarn in your picture. I also spotted the cookbook. Hope your enjoying it as much as I do mine.
ReplyDeleteThe potholders are great and that cake looks scrumdillyicious.
ReplyDeleteWow that cake looks too cute to eat. Jealous that the kids are out without jackets on, it's cold here. Adorable pot holders!
ReplyDeleteCute cake- what on earth did she make the stem and leaves etc from?
ReplyDeletecute cake....
ReplyDeleteThe cake is delightfully lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute cake..I can see why one wouldn't want to cut into it. Great pictures of the kids.
ReplyDeleteQuilting has been put on hold for a few days while I've been on the road with so many trips and appts. Hopefully some will get done this weekend. Hope you have a wonderful weekend too.
You did it again! I gained two pounds just looking at your pictures!
ReplyDeleteNothing is better then the smiles from grandchildren.
Hi Diana,
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable, just loved the smiles! and the pot holders are almost to pretty to use. I did enjoy your post this week.
Diana, I want to thank you so much for coming by yesterday, and for you words of encouragement, you will never know how much they meant to me.
Enjoy your week end,
Blessings,
Sue
What a beautiful cake and the pot holders are so neat! I crochet and love making my own dish cloths and pot holders. You're right - a lot of love goes into these handmade things. :) I always enjoy visiting your blog and will visit again!
