Sam-I-Am

 I just love finding stuff at Sam's Wholesale.

I had searched all over the place for an ice cream freezer. Most stores had either sold out or didn't get any this year. Now what's that about? Especially here in 100+ degrees Texas!! Anyway, Marilyn and I were stopping in to pick up some extra stuff for the weekend. I decided just to check, you know by some small chance, if they had one. Low and behold they didn't just have one; they had a whole stack of them. Woohoo---made my day!


Then right beside the freezers these cute little things were stacked. This ceramic red one just shouted out to me. It was even marked down! I can tell you for sure....it dispensed great amounts of tea during the 4th weekend.


And speaking of weekends.....have a great one!!

    I love that red one. Trying to find a ice cream freezer is impossible. I wonder when they sell them January? I was so desperate I had to order mine from Amazon. It still took awhile too. My original ice cream maker I got as a wedding present and it lasted almost 30 years. I really hated to see it go. :)

    Love the red container!! Cute. And two summers ago our ice cream freezer really got a workout. I made all kinds of ice creams and gelatos. Boy did we have fun!

    Lucky YOU!!! My daughter recently ordered an ice cream freezer and it cost nearly $300!!!! I would just buy ice cream!! Of course I have EATEN homemade ice cream but never made it myself! Happy Week end.

    Atwoods had ice cream makers this year - big ones, too! I waited too long, they were gone in a flash! Cute tea dispenser - I just had to stop by for a taste!

    Neat find. It has been forever since I've had hand-cranked ice cream...even electric-cranked ice cream...except in my Cuisinart. Which reminds me, I need to bring that out and stick the bowl in the freezer.
