The Lake
We went to a nearby lake in the RV this past weekend. It was such a treat. Rick had taken off Thursday and Friday so we had a long weekend. The kids came out Friday afternoon for dinner, and then Jonah stayed a couple of nights with us. He and I spent one afternoon exploring every nook and cranny around the lake and (as he said) "in the forest." What a fantastic opportunity to be out in God's creation and see the wonder of it all through the eyes of this five year old!!
(Elly has her own take of the weekend, too!)
That weather looks amazing! I am so EXTREMELY anxious for this 6 ft of snow to melt. But no luck, we are expecting another 8 inches tomorrow.

Can't think of anything better than God's nature and grandkids!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not much of a camper, but I do love being out in nature if I can get back in my own bed at night! Must be fun seeing it though the eyes of your grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to entertain little boys does it? Jonah looks like he is having a great time.
