HELLO TO ALL OF YOU!
I want to thank you so much for all your prayers and comments. It's been an up and down week, but it could have been worse I know. Without boring you with all the details, I will just let you know that the gall bladder was removed the "lap" way. During the surgery, the doctor found a hernia and some adhesions which he took care of as well. This has slowed recovery, but I'm feeling better now. I will go back to get the staples removed tomorrow and hopefully will get the lab results as well. Glad to be up and about. Thanks again!
I'm so glad to hear the surgery's behind you, which means some health & vigor are ahead.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed as you recover. You're in my prayers!
Kathleen

Glad you are doing well Diana. Glad the doc was able to fix the other things too.
ReplyDeleteDear Diana, Like everyone above I am so thankful that you are on the road to recovery but pray you don't push yourself too much. Staples-I hated having them out after a c-section(take some Advil first). Let your body rest and recoop...but so glad you are back among us-you were so missed.
ReplyDeleteHugs & prayers,
Noreen

Glad to hear that your surgery went well and that you are feeling better. Hopefully you will get good lab results. I know you will be glad to get your staples out. Take care and don't overdo yourself. You have had major surgery!!! Enjoy being lazy for a while longer. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're past the worst of it, gal! I know about the slow recovery. I had a conventional appendectomy the first week of this year...took me a lot longer because I pulled my side muscles my first day home.
I will continue to pray sweetie. Rest...get some sunshine every day, and follow Dr.'s orders. You'll be back to 100% before you know it!
Big hugs,
Becky
Praising GOD that you are on the mend. I know I have not been around much, but I have been praying. Thanks for letting us know how you are doing.

Diana...I'm so glad you got through surgery OK. I had major surgery in my abdomen (c-sections don't officially count)..and it took a while to get back up to snuff afterwards. Take it easy! You will surely feel better in the long run. :o)
