Big Bend Bound

Rick and I left yesterday morning on a road trip through the Hill Country and Big Bend. We are following some bikers in a car. Remember "we" sold our bike a couple of years ago. (No....I am not sad!) It was a good traveling day. We stopped and spent the night in Sonora.

After breakfast this morning, we were back on the road for another great sightseeing day. Tonight, we are staying in Marathon at the historic Gage Hotel. What a treat!


These two shots are of the Judge Roy Bean historical place and a great scene where the Pecos River flows into the Rio Grande.

    My cousins live out in Marathon and Alpine. We've been trying to work out a time to go visit. I'm sure you'll look at the stars while you're there. I'd love to see!

    I'm enjoying my visit over here...and following you on your travels. We spent some time in Hill Country last year...and I have a sister who lives in South Texas, so have been there several times.

    I noticed your 'Canada' label...and read up on your adventures up here last summer. I live one hour east of Vancouver...so recognized many of your photos. Tickleberries ice-cream...great pick!
