Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day

Oh my gosh! If you didn't hear this yesterday, November 15,  was "Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day."

MOST everything in a refrigerator was once a fresh, healthy food (or not), ready for your consumption. It may have been a tasty leftover, intended for later enjoyment. Unfortunately, over the course of weeks or more, things got pushed to the back of the refrigerator and slowly transformed into something impossible to identify.

What's that in the back of  YOUR refrigerator!? Do you really want to know? Don't open it...... the odor may overwhelm you!!! Hold your breath, scrunch your nose if you must, and throw it straight in the trash.

Happy Cleaning!!

P.S. What's the most unusual thing you have in your refrigerator RIGHT NOW? Mine was a wrapped used paint brush! Don't ask.............

  1. I can't believe I am ahead of cleaning out the refrid. scheldule!!! I cleaned mine last weekend...it was soooo gross, I can't even tell you. BUT-after three hours (!!!) it is sparkly...I kept showing anyone who came over. That is sad, isn't it!?

  2. Yikes...funny that I didn't even know it, but yet I was thinking just yesterday that I need to clean it out...probably because my mom is coming next week. I have to show her that she taught me well. :-) Off to get it done!

  3. I've never put a paintbrush in the refrigerator. lol My step-daughter's cell phone has been in there though. When she dropped it in a trashcan at Burger King. Gross!!! Can't think of anything at the moment that is in there. Because I actually pulled out all the bowls that had gotten shoved to the back yesterday. Only thing I can think of that's not normally there would be a bag of breastmilk for Emily.

  4. I am not so brave to venture towards the bottom of and back of my fridge! Yet it really needs to be washed out.

  6. My fridge got a good cleaning during Hurricane Ike last year since it wasn't working for 4 days. Good excuse to wash everything down.
I too have a paintbrush wrapped in a plastic bag in my refridgerator that is in my garage.

    I understand you. :0
