California Coast Trip
This year for our spring break we flew into San Jose, California. We traveled down the coastline and then went inland to make a large circle. We travel over 1100 miles and had superb weather while we were there! Accommodations included some of the best and a couple of not-so-good hotel rooms. We had a great time.
Highlights of the trip included:
- Highway 1 coastline ( including Carmel, Monterrey, and Pebble Beach)
- Hearst Castle
- Sequoia National Forest and King Canyons National Park (still with snow)
- Muir Woods
- great bakeries and diners
- a mission
- San Francisco city tour
- Tor House
