Cracker Candy Bars,

You are going to love these! Trust me....

 2 Sticks real Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
Club Crackers (1 sleeve should make 1 pan)
1-12 oz pkg chocolate chips =white or milk chocolate, but NOT semi-sweet
1 Cup chopped pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Line rectangular cookie sheet with foil. Spray foil with non-stick spray.

Line cookie sheet with crackers. Melt butter in saucepan. Add sugar. Low boil about 1 to 2 minutes, until sugar dissolves and mixes well. Add baking soda. MixPour over crackers. Bake in oven for 8 minutes. It will still be liquid and golden brawn. Pour chocolate chips over crackers. As they melt, spread like frosting. Top with pecans if you wish!

  2. Hi Diana,
Those sound awesome, I am trying to figure out how I can cut down on the butter to make it more heart healthy for hubby. Where there is a will there is a way I always say!! lol

Liked your thankful list, and yes, a refrigerator should definitely be on our list. Amazing what being without something that we are so used to having and how much we miss it and the convenience of it brings out such
    gratefulness................but that is our old
human nature, isn't it!! So glad you had the one in the camper and hope it gets delivered today, just in time for preparing Thanksgiving dinner next week...........imagine not having it next week...........now there's a whole nother blessing!! lol

Take care and May you and Your family have
    a Wonderfully blessed day,
    Nellie
