Jared's Surgery and Weekend with Them

Jared had hernia surgery Thursday. All went well. We were there for the weekend to help with Marlow and Jackson. We enjoyed some fun at home and the park. 

 Camping at East Burns Run

We just spent ten days camping at Lake Texoma. We had good weather and an awesome site which led to a great trip!

 

 Cousin Time

Marilyn unexpectedly got to get Anja and Izzy for a few days. We were able to get the other cousins together for a long weekend. So fun!

 Ski Trip With Jenna and Family

We spent the last few days in Red River, New Mexico with Jenna, Jared, Marlow, and Jackson. We left Wednesday after school and came home Monday. We stayed in a house very close to the skiing. We enjoyed fresh snow, good food, and made lots of memories which included an experience on a road (path) where we got stuck in the snow for a bit. We love being on vacation with any and all our kids!

Today was hard! After 13 years and one week, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Elly. She was sick and not going to get better. Our local vet was on duty and helped us with our decision. We have had other pets come and go in our home, but this was so different. She was the perfect addition to our home. Most days she spent hours in Rick's lap. She went everywhere with us including trips to Colorado, New Mexico, and many other camping trips in our RV. We will miss her terribly!
