Thanksgiving Week plus Molly's Baptism, Marlow's birthday and Six Flags

We had Molly, Marlow, Jackson, Fitz and Evans off and on all Thanksgiving Week. On Friday, the Gunter Tigers had a playoff game (they won!). Saturday we had our family Thanksgiving together. Everyone except Greg and the girls were with us. 

Yesterday we were blessed to get to watch Molly's baptism. Such a sweet time! Now three of the five grands have accepted Jesus and followed with baptism.

After the church service we loaded up and went to Six Flags Holiday in the Park for Marlow's birthday. It was such a great day to be there. We experienced no crowds or lines and had beautiful weather.

Marlow's third grade performed a Veteran's Day program last night. They did such a great job. Each student got to submit photos of family veterans!

We attended quite a few football, softball, soccer, and baseball games this month. Always fun!

 

 Cousin Time

Last week we were able to get all seven of the littles together. Greg, Anja, and Izzy flew in as they had a fall break. It worked out great that all the other littles had some time off from school here and there, too. 

Greg, Chad, and Justin worked on a "to-do list" that Marilyn, Rickie and us had made out. The big job was adding additional insulation to both our garages. Jenna and Jared came the weekend. 

While the big cousins worked, Marilyn and I entertained the littles. We had a tea party, a halloween party, lots of park time, and a trip to Urban Air.

 Grandparents' Day at School

We recently were so happy to be able to attend grandparents' day at both Mansfield and Gunter for the kiddos. 

 September Birthdays

Jenna turned 40. Shaun and Kelle hosted a birthday celebration at their house for her. They had a hibachi guy come and prepare a meal for all us. 

Jonah turned 19 and Glory turned 16. They each had family meals at their house. 

Love all five of my grandkids so much!!!!!

 August Happenings

- Rickie moved from the hospital to a rehab facility; daily trips to Prosper to visit and get Marilyn food

- Had to replace our entire AC unit 

- Rick had cataract surgery on his good eye; great results

- Molly turned 8

- School started back (Molly - first grade, Jackson - second grade, Marlow - third grade, and Glory -  sophomore

- Jonah moved into a dorm at Texas State in San Marcos
